- Watercolor paper (9×12)
- Masking tape or painter’s tape
- Pencil and eraser
- Oil pastels
- Watercolor paints
- Paintbrushes (one small detail brush and one medium round brush)
- Cup of clean water + paper towels
- Optional: reference photos of redwood forests looking up from the forest floor
