The Art Makes Me Smart Membership

The Easter Unit Study

Our Easter Unit Study is a beautiful invitation to slow down and reflect on the hope and meaning of the season. Through thoughtful discussion, meaningful connections, and hands-on creativity, this study helps children engage both their hearts and their hands.

At the center of the study is the “He Is Risen” watercolor tutorial, a guided project that walks your family step-by-step through creating a piece that reflects the joy and promise of Easter morning. As you paint together, conversations unfold naturally—about renewal, sacrifice, celebration, and hope.

The Christmas Unit Study

Our Christmas Unit Study invites your family to slow down and reflect on the beauty and meaning of the season through art, music, and meaningful connection. At the heart of this study is the “O Holy Night” watercolor painting, a guided tutorial that helps you create a peaceful, hope-filled piece inspired by the wonder of that first Christmas.

As you paint together, conversations naturally unfold about light in the darkness, the gift of Christ, and the joy of celebration. It’s more than a project, it’s a moment to pause, create, and center your homeschool on what matters most.

Step into the rich world of faith, music, and creativity with our Hildegard von Bingen Composer Study. Children are introduced to this remarkable composer, writer, and thinker through engaging listening activities, meaningful discussion, and artful connection.
