Creative Tips for Using Your Advent Calendar:
- Print the template on cardstock for a sturdy surface that holds up to watercolor, markers, collage, or stickers.
- Let your kids decorate a new square each day leading up to Christmas. They can paint or color using watercolors, crayons, colored pencils or makers. Let them use what inspires them!
- Add your own daily prompts: Scripture verses, kind acts, holiday-themed activities, or family traditions.
- Display it somewhere special! Children will love to see their calendar on the fridge, a bulletin board, or clipped to a ribbon with clothespins.
- Turn it into a memory book: when December’s done, tuck it into a binder or folder to look back on each year.
Remember: there’s no “right way” to do this. Just make it meaningful.
